That's only the first and second time I said those words in this thread! Caught in a lie!

Maybe you should go check the definition of troll. So far you have not contributed to any of the discussion, just throwing in snarky remarks. Just cause someone doesn't have the same opinion of them does not make them a troll, nub. It just means they are not sheep.

    On topic.

I would assume the patches leading up to 2.0 will pave the way for the combat and crafting systems. Otherwise why even bother making those updates. I guess we need to watch the year leading up to it.

I'm obviously joking... I thought that was obvious...

But I guess some things are just lost on some people. Have you not noticed that the only thing this obviously alt account does is just bitch and bitch and never offer anything but more bitching? Thus, she is fair game.

At least in my eyes. And that's good enough for me.

Why the hell would I contribute to the "discussion"? And why is the word "sheep" so popular nowadays?

    Them young'uns, I tell you...

All of those are essentially fixes towards what you CAN do with the crafting system. But there is nothing there about HOW you do it. The crafting system in its current state is a massive grindfest that's downright painful. It's nice that they've tried to make the process more engaging, but it's a moot point if the system isn't fun.
I hate to requote something... so I won't. Just look at this other thread post.

Bitching, bitching, bitching is constructive criticisms. Otherwise SE would be sitting there with their thumb up their butt wondering why they have so little subs. If you don't like something, say so. I have more respect for people who stand up and say why they don't like the game then people who bitch at them for complaining.

Whats gonna change the game? Someone who criticizes or someone who keeps praising every little application.

Why sheep? Because if someone makes a thread thats remotely critical, you betcha there's going to be the people following making little comments like "troll" "GTFO" hoping to have the thread locked down for going off topic. As you can see by the first few pages, there's quite a few of the "bandwagon" types. If you have no interest in the topic, then stay out of it.

The OP has every right to ask this question. I believe he/she is wrong but only time will tell. I just couldn't really see the updates prior to 2.0 having no ties with how 2.0 is played out. I'll assume this next year is is the continuation of beta. I'd be mind numbingly gob smacked if none of these updates are not carried over to 2.0. It would a waste of resources.

We'll have a year of patches to see whether or not this game goes in the direction that the majority will like. Lets wait and see.

You've clearly not seen her other threads and posts. And talking about her is actually staying on topic. Because this is all about how miserable she is while playing this game. I've not seen a single positive thing coming from her. I've not gleaned a shimmer of hope from any of her words. It's always: This game sucks blah blah blah. Not: I like this game and I hope it gets better, but this worries me. [continue post]

    On topic:

She continuously says how absolutely terrible all of Yoshida's decisions and his directions are.

This brings the obvious response: If you don't like it, if it's not your cup of tea, nobody here is forcing you to stay. Yoshida's not going anywhere.

And no. If someone makes a constructive thread, even if being completely critical, it will at least garner some respect and hopefully inspire some debate. Like... this? Perhaps this. Hell, maybe even this.

I admit I tend to just accept situations as they come and not overly criticize most things, like this game. It keeps me happy and free from the plague of dissatisfaction when it comes to entertainment (obviously this does not apply to my job... I'm a stress freak then). But I can appreciate a well-thought-out criticism instead of a random flinging of metaphorical doodoo like is consistently spewed from our guest of honor.

First time I've ever seen someone say that people who have a positive opinion of the game and are mostly politely telling the OP that it's completely and utterly wrong that they are bitches. I guess there's a first for everything.

Fact of the matter is, the entire reason the thread was made was to criticise the, in the eyes of the poster, lack of updates and planned updates to the combat and crafting system. It's completely wrong, people have a right to tell the OP that it's stupid. Why even bother making the post in the first place, it just screams "I don't know what I'm talking about, free pass to tell me how dumb I sound!".

Good thing this forum doesn't take open statements and twist its meaning to their desire right? If anyone thinks something should be changed they get attacked for it much like the series of crafting threads in the other sub forum. There's nothing in the Roadmap for crafting that isn't more fluff. DoL has been getting needlessly simplified every chance they get and barely any of the abilities actually make a noticeable difference for how rarely they proc. I don't really care what they gave other websites in interviews up to half a year or more ago, none of it showed up in the Roadmap at all.

Define 'more fluff'.. vague statements will get you nowhere. You make the replies posted here sound spiteful and unprovoked. 'Attacking' is such a strong word.. I prefer to think of it as 'rightfully denying'.

DoL was not brought up in the OP, and since I haven't even picked up a single DoL weapon in my time playing the game, I can safely say it doesn't matter to me, so why should I care? Regardless of how I feel about them, the crafting and DoL classes are heavily involed in materia crafting, a character enhancing system equally beneficial to all classes. Let's not forget the recipe overhauls, changes to gathered materials and gathering point levels, simplification and fine tuning that is constantly happening too..

And look what I found on the planned changes between now and 2.0, it took me all of 1 minute to find!

Basis of new recipes released in patch 1.19. New additions to continue to be made prior to version 2.0.
New high-end recipes to have high levels of difficulty, not only in terms of recipe complexity, but also
crafting location requirements (e.g., facilities within a kobold stronghold).
Materia released in patch 1.19, with future plans including release of additional materia slot items, materia
to mitigate requirements to equip gear, further system expansions, and additional items.
Release of an item notebook after version 2.0 to log all recipes and crafted items for consolidated, easy
    viewing.
Release of a "signature" feature for version 2.0 enabling players to put their names on items they craft.
Disciple of the Land Stealth ability released in patch 1.19, enabling gatherers to remain concealed from
    enemies in the field.
Release of an item notebook after version 2.0 to log gathering level and item information for consolidated,
    easy viewing.
Release of treasure chests that may appear randomly at any gathering node.
Chests to yield treasure maps that may only be viewed by Disciples of the Land.
Sure looks like they are completely forgetting about those classes.. So thanks for trying to defend a now proven stupid OP.
