Powerful in comparation of WHM, weak in comparation of AST.... My point is, what do we bring to the table than an AST cant do better?

Definitly not weak compare to ast.
If ast gains that 300% shield and the 170% aoe shield, it's because they can only rely on those two skills to shield efficiently.
We have fairy, aetherflow management and free heals, still the deployed critical adlo, now a critical rate buff on the target and a singl target bomb heal.

So there's nothing to worry about.

Just to be clear, AspBen's shield still stronger than an Adlo crit.

And I think this reflects the re-calculation of damage across the board, healers were becoming too DPS orinetated, bringing them back in line with healer ideology is NOT a negative thing. If you think it is, you need to main a DPS class

Emmmmmmmmm..... you know they actually boosted ( a little, but still a boost) single target dps, right?
