Thanks so much for this! Apparently the Aetherflow thing is the only difference between both languages. Glad to see Fairy actions are unchanged.

I noticed the Embrace potency nerf, though it looks like Maim and Mend will now affect pet actions both for SMN and SCH so it might be a change made to offset this. Also, SCH is getting Enhanced Mind bonuses now, so I don't think her healing is going to be too affected by it.

I might just be being overly optimistic, though... Which, honestly, seems like an unwise thing to be seeing how bad WHM got off this expansion lol. Also, our AoE :/

We actually currently already have the 30% potency from traits that affects our fairy if you look at ingame tooltips, so that wont be changing unless the current version just doesn't affect us at all right now. :/

Yeah our aoe makes me super sad not gonna lie, I can think of all the times I'm gonna get triggered by a tank moving mobs out of my shadowflare when I cant fix it ><

I love all of you in this thread right now, we are all SCH and we all feel the same pain. I was only worried about losing Aero but this was way worse than I expected, T.T, When does 5.0 release?

Not gonna lie, seeing the changes has made me decide to drop SCH, and this is really saddening for me because SCH was my favoite job in terms of design, functionality and thematic :'). A lot of the lost elements and the unnecessary AST overshadowing are quite disheartening. I'm taking my shield back up now that PLD is actually endearing, and just quitting healing altogether. The lack of healer balance makes me somewhat uncomfortable, and I'm really starting to have ill feelings towards AST as a job, so perhaps focusing on tanking will help me deviate my attention from that.

Personally I'm holding out hope that they realize what they've done to both whm and scholar is a major disservice and do something to remedy the situation, but at this rate I highly doubt that will happen its kinda too close to release. Not to mention all of the people still sticking to their guns that scholar is op cuz omg we got a crit buff so everything will be sunshine and rainbows lol.

i mean the thing is WHM is just too bad, and AST just too good, they are dragging all the attention, so we are kinda stuck in the "middle" (if we give numbers to it, WHM would be on a -50, and AST would be on a +50, so by middle people would think we are in a 0, not good not bad, but is not like that, we are in the middle of them but that doesnt mean we are exactly in the middle point between both, back to the numbers, SCH would be on a -20, which is definitely hella bad, just because someone else is on a worse corner, doesnt mean we should be ok with that)

Yeah it does seem exactly that way I agree completely. The problem is we aren't as bad off so we are expected to stay silent about it and be thankful were not the -50, I don't think we should be so complacent about it.
