been playing with my VPN, looks like approx 90ms is the best I can do and that's routing directly thru chicago to the west coast.

i am german too, and I avoid 99% of other germans like the plague because I hate how some of them dont speak english...so whenever I would bring other people who dont speak german, they'd be left out.
And besides, frankly speaking, I have only ever had bad experience with the german player community, so i dont miss it at all.

Damn i think i love you I had the exact same experience (even in the german XIV forums here).

Haven't had a chance to log in today yet but I spent nearly two years playing with a 750 ms ping sooooo...you'll forgive any lack of sympathy over someone having 100 ms suddenly.

And people who are 95th plus on drg, mch and bard are saying they had worse ping such as 130-200 when they got them.

Really gets the neurons firing.

Must be nice to play a class that doesn't have to double weave out the *** :^)

EDIT: not saying you can't play well with high ping, but given a player of equal skill on a good connection vs a bad one the good one will outperform every time and saying otherwise is really dumb.

Okay yeah sure lemme just cancel my preorder and end my sub all the while knowing location has less impact on ping times and everything to do with ISP/routing.

I've been playing with my VPN and I can't get anything lower than 90ms in western PA. If you've got some routing secrets for me please feel free to share because I could really use some right about now.
