Rvial Wings added to Frontlines Roulette

Would you like Rival Wings added to the Frontlines Roulette? Yes or no?

I'm going to provide two schools of thought on this.


On one hand, if they add Rival Wings to the Frontlines Roulette, the queues for that roulette will increase and players can get the daily bonus more often without wasting time. There is also an increase chance of keeping the other PvP modes alive; although not by much considering it was always just Shatter previously for the most part against the other modes. There's also still a good chance of getting Shatter anyway since that's where all the bots are doing their farming.

Now on the other hand, you could also argue that by keeping Rival Wings out of the roulette would also help keep those modes alive because players will have to queue for the roulette separately of Rival Wings.


I personally take the side that Rival Wings should be added to Frontlines Roulette.

I would say no. As is the Seize mode is NEVER populated these days, and it technically isn't a Frontline battle because the Frontline ones are between the 3 main city states and their GCs.

Which is a damn shame. If it was seize I might actually play more of it... Then again there's no chance of that when it's currently bots-ville.

I just want the achievement items for Seize. Those Field Commander parts are amazing, and would get constant use from me.

Absolutely. Change the name to Alliance PVP Roulette, or something. Right now Frontline Roulette is essentially useless, since the only active mode is Astralagos.

That said, I still really wish they would add weekly bonuses to individual PVP modes, to encourage people to go back to the old modes.

I suspect this isn't possible because the party compositions are different. Wasn't that part of the reason we had to wait for the 24man raid roulette? Because Labyrinth of the Ancients had a different party composition, and the duty finder couldn't deal with that?

You can only queue Frontline Roulette as Solo, so it wouldn't matter there.

Beyond that, Rival Wings is a new mode complete separate from Frontlines, so putting one mode into the roulette of another mode wouldn't make sense. They'll plan on adding different games to Rival Wings, so hopefully they'll plan on revamping Frontlines.

I would prefer not, because then it would further deprive the Frontlines modes of what few people still appear in them.

And on a personal level, it would then mean that getting my daily roulette bonus would pretty much always require me to play Rival Wings (it would almost certainly always be the one to fire), which I find to be by far the least fun of all the PvP modes I've played.

Let me say that Frontlines are pretty much dead, same goes for Feast[Training] after Rival Wings released.
I got 24-people(8x8x8) Frontlines even at prime time evening/weekend after around 20min queue. It used to be 2-8min queue in prime time with 72 players, now it's 20+minutes with 24 players.

Same goes for Feast[Training], waited 40 minutes and canceled it (evening/weekend). Feast used to be 5min queue.

Pretty much everyone play Rival Wings atm and ignore all other modes. We need to revive Frontlines, at least.

And if you include RW into Frontline Roulette, it will be the final nail in the "Frontline"(Seal Rock/Shatter/etc) coffin. 99.9% of the time you'l get RW in that roulette.
