My latency increased from 180ms to 310ms. While I had no problem playing before, now I'm experiencing some delay that compromises stance dancing as a WHM and often makes using Swiftcast a pain.
I can only hope that this routing issue will sort itself out soon.

My latency after the server opened was at 349 ms, with Mudfish managed to drop to 192 MS.
Brazil, São Paulo, ISP Vivo Fibra.

My ping went from 170ish to this:
Since I already preordered Stormblood I won't quit just yet, but I'll probably start looking for a new MMO. The servers should've been in Texas, since that would benefit everyone.

While I sympthyze considering I'm south America aswell, when we started playing we knew this game had no support for south america, they could have cut was out from the game completely like Black Desert did. And I rather be able to play even if I have to pay a vpn, complainting here will only lean their decision towards not letting us even acess the game anymore.

Having a bad support to an almost unplayable state is almost then saying "Hey you are not welcome".While I sympthyze considering I'm south America aswell, when we started playing we knew this game had no support for south america, they could have cut was out from the game completely like Black Desert did. Bowing your head down won't get you anywhere. I rather see what the Administration has to say about this fiasco instead of nodding and calling then "Magnanimous" for letting us play the game that we PAY.

Since the game is officially sold here. We can, at least, expect a nice latency and some support. =/While I sympthyze considering I'm south America aswell, when we started playing we knew this game had no support for south america, they could have cut was out from the game completely like Black Desert did. For what it's worth; going from 170 to 330 with this relocation seems really, really strange. Even wrong. It might actually be the network / routing, hope so for you guys, we'll know soon enough.

Yeah, hopefully it will normalize a bit after some days. Thank you for your reply, it makes me feel less frustrated about the whole thing.

South American FFXIV players, you are in the same boat as us Aussies and SEA players. We are still playing without complaint because we know there is nothing to be done about it. I am happy I can play the game, do dungeons and not be hit by everyone AOE due to lag at least XD.
It costs a lot of money to run a server, they can't start one in South America AND South East Asia.
At least we can play an English client of FFXIV, Dragon Quest X is still Japanese only T_T.
