Too many business recently, that's all i want to point out.
We've never seen that much addition in the MogStation back in 2.0 and first 3.0 patches.
Recently i just have the feeling that there is more content added into the mogstation and not in the game.
So the fact that WoW does it too makes it ok?
Technically you didn't, and they didn't have to add it at all. They need more money to give us better updates for the game, so they create little things that people would want to buy. If there was no Mogstation, more likely none of those items would even exist.
Well mogstation is only glamour based, even looking at that, most, i guess 90% + are available ingame, put past itens in there is a win-win situation, SE make them moneys and who havent the oportunity to play during the event have a chance to get it, the problem is some people havent grow up, i may be wrong but it seems those annoying kids that think they should be the only ones that have their toys, i played many mmorpgs in the last decade, sub and no sub, and comparing mogstation is one of the best ones, the only thing i dont like its the prices that are too high, otherwise you guys should look to the market (mmos) and see that cash shop is a valid and very present business model.
It all boils down to wanting to make the game better. On one side, you have the people who wish everything was in game by default and you didn't have to pay extra. On the other hand, you have people think this game should be supported by the Mogstation because if you buy the items for real money, you're helping an MMO advance better by supporting the company you love playing the game for. Every game these days has DLC that might be free and the having to pay extra to enjoy a game or it's cosmetics has been around since the very beginning of the new age of Video Games. Square Enix are hardly the first, nor will they be the last to do this. It's called economy and business. Do I agree that the prices for optional items should be there? Yes, because they're optional. Do I think some things in the Mogstation should be available through collective needs and items missed from previous events should be in the game? Yes, I do. It does not mean I want the Mogstation gone, however.
They have a smaller cash shop than we do despite being out much longer. I feel it's part of the conversation that's always left out.
Yeah but... you know... feelings > facts.
Can't beat those feelings.
You want more content, don't you? Oy vey! So ungrateful.
