I know in WoW it was a tool that created a very toxic community. One reason why I quit eso was due to its toxity for having one and players criticizing and harassing tanks and healers for low dps.

If ffxiv implements such tool, even simple trials and MSQ dungeons won't be safe from harassment

I would also like to point out that people parse anyway. If I go into a savage raid someone knows the damage numbers. If I go into a extreme trial, someone knows the damage numbers! It's used anyway and after all the times I've played abuse occurs when the dps check isn't met or enrage. Only then do people mention the parse data!

So I guess they should remove the dps checks and enrage then due to abuse? If a dev is going to make hitting a damage target a thing lets have a tool to help us reach that damage target.

Bah, allow parser only for Trial Ex and Raid Savage. It's midcore contents, it should be okay.
