It's just a big waste of resources to alter every single content (What about insta wipe mechanics in Ifrit/Garuda/Leviathan/Ramuh due to too high dps??? What about the granite gaol in Titan Hm which is insta wipe if you're alone?) just to make 'unsynched' into 'faceroll'.

'Undersized group' as the name already tells you was implemented to enable people to do the content with less than 8 people and at their current level, precisely because they didn't want to apply individual sophisticated changes to every old content, but still wanted to ease access and make it easier to beat.


Also: Just open up a pf, say 'Txx with bonus unsynch' and throw yourself in the wall and die. Let the others clear the content (they'll be glad if people not able to do meteors kill themselves before that phase anyway), done.
Easy enough?
