Warning about handing out wedding invites

There really is no excuse for the guests to behave as they did, and it does equal harassment. Whether they were strangers or not, whether they were invited in a city or via a tell.

And the saddest of all is that people in this thread have started behaving just as those wedding guests. And even worse, excusing such behaviour under the 'everyone does it, it's just how it is' flag.

No, that is not how it should be, and we should not allow it. As I have said before, there should be a way to deal with individuals who make your gaming experience a hell. From stalkers to plain asses.

Every post you've made in this thread is disingenuous. You purport to support constructive feedback, yet have only expressed disdain for opinions you disagree with, providing no evidence that you have taken any tangible steps to resolve the perceived issue. You want others to keep their mouth shut when you will not.

The OP learned his lesson and decided to post a warning in the general discussion forum. Say it with me now: general discussion. Even if there are posts that - heaven forfend - disgust you, at least they are replying to the OP in an attempt to be relevant. You, on the other hand, are here to simply express your indignation at the responses.

Yet you have twisted and contorted those same responses to suit your narrative, ignoring the fact that a wedding is a private event and that those handing out invitations should bear some, if not all, responsibility. You want SE to hold your hand for when you make poor decisions, for an outcome that was well within your means to control?

Let me tell you what's sad. You sitting on your arse complaining about people's behaviour in a video game forum while families and refugees are starving out in the real world. Well, what are you waiting for, hero? Quit your subscription, go out there and start make a difference. That is, if you really care that much about how things should not be.
