You think its fine that the solution to increased gating is to charge people to skip the gate? The larger the gate, the more mandatory this skip will be, and as Naunet said, the devs will have no motivation to skip it because people will just hand over cash to get to the current content that they just paid for, rather than slogging through 5 expansions for 6 months.

I'd rather they save resources by fixing it now rather than in two expansions time when it has become a real issue and is very costly to fix.
