Stop Giving the "Need" Command for Drop Gear in Dungeons to Higher Geared Players!

Shire gear is guaranteed. The Dunscathe accesory is guaranteed.

Shire gear is 0.9 pieces per week, the accessory is 1 per week. I think you missed the time scale entirely here.

My bard is i270. Lots of time commitment there right? So if i want to now commit my time to collecting gc seals who are you to say that is not as important?

If you did care about the time/seal you put into it you would go the crafted way (~15-20k/15min and I'm slow at crafting too -I know I have to work on my time management there, but uhmmm ..chatting...). You may as well choose to be inefficient, but not at the expense of others.

I roll on everything. If someone asks, I'll pass. But I'm not going to run a dungeon on my bard in order to gear up my lower jobs. I've capped shire every week. And I'm now buying pieces for my fourth job. Time commitment.
If you don't ask. You aren't going to get anything aiming in a dungeon with me. Gc seals are one reason why i have 60mil gil.
Sure it may be greedy to roll need. But i guarantee you I'd be rolling greed if that was the only option.

Then you should be happy if the "need" button is unlocked for everyone: you can roll need on other roles' items too.

I am by no means self entitled i demand nothing from df randoms. Why do you?

Self-entitled or demanding? Not really:

I have been lucky that most of the groups I had would "greed" by default. And my default choice is always greed. The only cases where I would roll need are:
1. I am with a <60 class and I need a green/pink item for an immediate upgrade
2. it's a lv50 duty (esp. raids) and I need the item for glamour
3. someone in the party has rolled "need" on an item just because they could -I'll be damned if I let their greed score them anything for my job.
