1) The only instance in which that can occur is when there are two DPS of the same job, which is relatively rare in a dungeon.

2) Even if they win the roll, it's still completely fair and equal, and it doesn't matter one iota what they plan to use it for. Them using it for GC seals or desynthesis or glamour is just as valid and "necessary" as you using it for stats. In fact, it's often more "necessary" for someone using it for purposes other than stats because any dungeon gear used for stats is going to be replaced soon.

Same for your Seals/desynth needs: turn-in and desynth i250 crafted items. You don't get anything better from dungeon drops.

No one has said that, they are saying it's just as legititmate a reason to roll on need for something. If they win the items for such a use then no-one has any right to complain about it, everyones access to loot is exactly the same. If someone doesn't like that then they hate the idea of fairness.

Urm cannot desynth lvl 250 crafted items ulness you've got a pretty high desynth level anyway (kinda defeats the point of "leveling" it), and people do not want to spend millions on GC seals.

If it's "just as legitimate" why not go with "greed" for a level playing field? Exclusive rights to selfishness perhaps?

(Yes, you can desynth, there's the i220 set too for levelling it, and the cost is nowhere near a million even if you buy mats off the MB.)

There is a rather glaring distinction between the op and the person you are responding to.

One rolls on loot and if they don't get it they move on as thats the way things are for everyone. The other goes "omfg! I didn't get ma loot no-one should be allowed to roll unless I deem them worthy of it!"... So yeah.

I haven't seen anywhere in any of bardaboo's posts when it's adovcated the removal of anyones right to need on gear.

Here is me trying to get my last bird from Zurvan, upto 80 kills and my friend asked to join to which I said yes. His 3rd kill he gets the bird and now has the firebird, the game isn't fair or nice as is the way of things with RNG. Should I now demand that people with less kills than I do not be allowed to roll need on a bird? No, you just move on and accept crap happens.
