Don't forget several of the more important DPS Commandments. These are time honored and true across ALL games.

1) I shall not move ahead of the tank.
2) I shall not initiate a fight; only the tank will.
3) I shall avoid standing in the fire.
4) I shall reduce my aggro if I am outpacing the tank.

one rule you missed

5) I shall tank the floor if a dragoon I am (specific to ffixv but other mmos do have these classes, for example Swtor was the sentinel/marauder)
