The issue isn't that you were doing low dps, because clearly the other people in your party were doing just as little if they can't carry one guy through Sohr Kai, it's that you pointed this out to the rest of the group "i'm new pls kick me!".
I mean that's like sneaking into a farm party to get your clear then telling everyone you're the bonus.
