He does work on WoW PVP too - over there's he's known as Holinka. (KEKEKEKEKEKE)I just receive some inside information on the chat banned, it was apparently introduced by the newly elected director of pvp, Hansolo Mastujedi, who on record admitted he never played a single pvp content, doesn't understand the attraction of it and thought pvp stand for praise virgin players.
Just did an 8v8 again. Won, but in all seriousness The Feast is not fun under this Quick Chat system. No amount of additional commands are going to make it enjoyable. More commands means more things to try to fit on already-full hotbars, further complications for PS4 players, and even LESS fun than the Feast already isn't now.
This is your feedback. Page 67, 27 pages after you asked for suggestions, 27 pages of "get rid of quick chat" later, we're still saying it. It is not fun. It is not intuitive. It helps no one. It complicates things even further. IT IS NOT FUN. Don't improve it. SCRAP IT. GET RID OF IT. IT IS NOT FUN.
Do you now understand, SE? Is this at all clear? Is there a way I can perhaps make this more clear?
I pvp a lot. In Feast, I've really only seen toxicity on the level that would warrant this mass censorship less than a dozen times.
I find that once you work your way up out of the lower ranks, its far less toxic because you're playing with other people who are taking these matches seriously and are clearly not going away no matter how cancerous you are towards one another. Chances are we're going to see one anothe r very soon.
The toxicity begins when you have a player who queues at the detriment of all forced with them, unreceptive to criticism and selfishly costing others rankings simply because they do not care.
I'm not the best WAR in Feast, but I keep improving and take every match seriously and listen to all critiques from better PvPers. They know you're going to be around, so trust that they'd rather help you then have you keep costing points. the players who refuse to accept criticism that fuel the majority of the toxity.
It seems only Aether as a whole is showing their protest by not playing, all the other Data Center there is still a lot of activity going on from top to bottom. So while the chat banned has been spoken against by all these players it hasn't slow their interest to keep on playing. While some players have indeed stop playing, it just opens up their spot in the top 100 to other players.
With season 3 coming to a close in about 2-3 weeks, I expect once it ends and season 4 starts, the queues will be popping again and you can expect the same players in the top 100 in season 3 to be in the top 100 in season 4.

A lot of players on Primal have just been using VoIP, 2-6 per match it seems like.

Has more to do with the fact that people like to sit on their rating more over there than a 'protest' I think. A lot of the PvP junkies on primal have just moved onto to discord to chat while in matches.
I just want to add that this is doing more harm that good. I used to love the feast but now, it's just not that fun :/ I don't even mind the flamers, I usually mute them and that's that. Now, obviously this was the easier choice for SE, just to mute everyone and hence they won't have to go through all the chat logs(think "chore"). Sorry but this is lame!
