The New Chat Restriction in The Feast

Duty commenced this Friday and it looks like they won't be playing feast. Wonder why...

Funny that. I remember the Duty Commenced they tried to do when Frontline queues were so bad, they ended up doing the Feast instead. Now... We're suddenly doing Frontline after they borked up the Feast. Amazing how they try to not stream the things they've screwed up, really.

I'll be brutally honest:

I hope the stream fails hard. If they attempt the Feast, I hope no one queues, if only to show how serious we've been about the chat restriction all this time. If they only do Frontlines, I hope someone addresses the elephant in the room and asks what's being done about the 66 pages of negative feedback and reception to the chat restriction, both before and after its implementation. I'll be at work so I can't tune in, but in my opinion, SE doesn't get to ruin a game mode along with granting a 3 year long request, then use a long running special event to try to say "Look how successful PvP is now!"

You do realize they can do both feast 8v8 and frontline as both content has been active.

I'm sure people spamming "Nice Job!" during an 8v8 on stream every time someone died would be such good PR.

I did my 30 feast 8v8 wins for the garo event, no one spam anything or even say anything during a match, I highly doubt they will do it in front of SE culling event. Unless they were being openly rebellious.

What better time to do it, though? That would be the best way to show SE what a catastrophic failure the new chat is.

Honestly, the new chat restrictions are the top reason I won't participate in the Feast, nor the rankings.

I have enough on my hands just trying to hit buttons for skills on my PS4. I don't want to have to flip through hotbars in order to chat with people on my team in the instance. That's what I got a USB keyboard for.

Honestly, I won't even go with friends into the Feast until this changes. I'd rather do Frontlines Shatter instead if this is the setup that it's going to be.

I can easily imagine some people here seeing the Streamers on their team, grinning like a cheshire cat and doing nothing all game but spamming the chat buttons until the mouse breaks just to prove a point.

I mean, I would. They ignore our out of game suggestions. What better way to force the issue than shoving it in their faces on a live stream?

I just receive some inside information on the chat banned, it was apparently introduced by the newly elected director of pvp, Hansolo Mastujedi, who on record admitted he never played a single pvp content, doesn't understand the attraction of it and thought pvp stand for praise virgin players.
