The New Chat Restriction in The Feast

I can't even tell the team that there is a 10 stack tank hiding in the opponents base.

At this point there are so many PvP macros that they just might as well give one for each letter of the alphabet and let us spell out our own commands or something.

This game has the worst PvP management of pretty much any large online game. Until they fix it I tell every single person who's looking for a mmo and likes PvP to stay far away from this game.

What's really a shame is that, while they don't have the best system they do have something that could be fun, yet it is absolutely ruined by incompetence. They really need a "PvP guy" who has experience in this area. I mean they have a housing guy, a minion team, and raid guy(s), why not a pvp person?

Yeah, I was the only one on my team who noticed a MNK 10 stacked as I went down yesterday. Experience and intuition told me they went to hide in their base (it was the new map, 1 minute left on the clock), so I went around the lower portion, right into their base and took them down, but died to a DoT. . . not one person on my team noticed, nor ever made a move to grab the medals, thus they won. With chat, that loss could've been prevented.

With chat, a LOT of losses can be prevented.

Until they stop trying to put bandages on a gaping wound in the form of balance breaking buffs and even more useless quick chat macros (BTW, healers STILL can't request MP, and the box they can get it from is a tank, thus largely useless), I am quite happy not to bother with Season 4. I didn't care for the rewards in Season 3, and this sad state of affairs certainly won't motivate me to even consider Season 4.

Still shocked they did put this "change" to stop "toxicity" and yet they did nothing to PvE, like undergear harassment, preform harassment (why do I need to help carry their under geared haste level friend and stress heal?) PvE MPK, GMs doing nothing on this since it keeps happening.. but GMs can suspend a victim of harassment for 9 days because the person in question simply sent a tell asking them to stop harassing them over the novice network ... so on....

last season i lost a match cuz my team ignored a 4 stacks astro until the match ended! i couldn't do anything beside marking him 1, yet everyone ignored him and went to hit the dps/tank. IF ONLY WE CAN CHAT!!!

I did some preseason matches where i see tank get def buff from others. new ppl trying out the mode probably for next season. i saw healer taking red buff. ppl who jump into pvp without reading up guides and what things do. I used to have a macro full of directions to my team before gates open. That they can read in time. Simple things like " tank 4 stacks, red buff for who, blue for who, who to attack,purify healer when slept, etc "

SE likes to do everything the hard way, since the easy solution was add a "mute player" option and a quick report button for insults/flame/whatever.

And yes, the lack of communication is frustrating and even infuriating when you can't win a match just because there is a lack of communication.

I actually like the chat restriction. All the simple communication can be done via the macros. No salt included. Most teams use VOIP anyways.

1) I have tanks picking up my adrene, offensive buff, wolves heart buff, 10 stacking. I have plds that never clemency. I have ranged not picking up medals, not using burst correctly. I have melee not using Lb at all. I have ranged and melee picking up too much medals. I have healers who only use cure the whole match trying to conserve mana when they are maxed out. I can't communicate any "simple things" to them and I see them making the same mistakes over and over.

2) some people frown upon VoIP and only good players not making these mistakes will be using it. Anyone serious enough to want to use VoIP would not be making beginner mistakes.
