Here is, the second blog post (seems to have been linked wrong in the Reddit thread).I'm not seeing anything in either of the links that guy has on the reddit where YP supposedly talks about number of new jobs being related to the event. The only thing I saw about jobs at all was that the interviewer was trying to get YP to confirm whether Samurai would be in based on what was said in the "Developer's Room" (in game YP character), and YP says that he doesn't know why people choose to believe that when they don't normally trust what he says about other things.

Okay, I found the part. Here is, the second blog post (seems to have been linked wrong in the Reddit thread).
No, he does not say anything about the number of new jobs being related to the last Moonfire Faire. The question was about whether they might make a job-specific swimsuit for all jobs in relation to that event. YP responds that they may at least make one for each role. Then he goes on to say, "At next years Moonfire Faire (meaning 2017 MFF), if it was all jobs, I wonder how many swimsuits that would be" (if they made a job-specific swimsuits for all jobs, not just roles) and then he says, "oops, I can't say" And the reason he can't say is because if he said how many suits it would be total at next year's MF Faire, then that would tell us how many new jobs we will have with 4.0.
I had my wife confirm this, just to make sure.
tl;dr YP was about to talk about how many swimsuits there would be total at the 2017 Moonfire Faire if they made a job-specific swimsuit for each job, but then he teased by saying "oops, I can't say", because if he did, then we would know how many new jobs there will be for 4.0.
EDIT: And seeing as he's talking about the 2017 MF Faire, it's kinda pointless because a) we'll know in two weeks which jobs are coming and b) MF Faire isn't until August, so it would be after Stormblood's release.

No, no.
First the question was "Can you make job-specific swimsuits for each job?" To which YP responds: "Well, maybe at least each role".
Then he goes on to say, "But if we made job-specific swimsuits for each job, I wonder how many that would be." To which he then says, "Oops, I can't say". Because if he said, then we would know how many new jobs there would be in 4.0.
