A mentor stole my house, slapped me across the face, and raised my ping from 15 to 30. Literally unplayable.

I did A4S after A5S came out, does that make me a lazy PoS?
I'm also currently progressing A12S, and have Zurvan EX on farm (after 3 hours with my static, not 16 hours with Raid Finder), does that make me a lazy PoS?
Learning the content has NOTHING to do with when the content is done, you could still wipe in Thordan EX as is. You could also still wipe in Opressor with a 6 DPS party if mechanics are screwed up, like Opressor being surrounded in Resin bombs... the way of thinking of "we need to reward people who do stuff earlier!" is a very backwards and exclusive way of singling out people who cannot afford the time/materials/money to do the content or purchase the content, in the case of ingame and merchandise, respectively.
I'm not pro-lazy people because I have been busting my ass off trying to get A12S off my pile of stuff I need done before 4.0, but it doesn't help that it is an 8-man undertaking where everyone needs to be at the top of their game, maybe I'm not the lazy PoS in my static![]()

♥ Baby, tell me, what's your motive? ♥
This isn't cut and dry as legacy, which is all I talked about and I really don't know why you are specifically directing this question towards me. I can only make an assumption based on experience and literally guessing SE's methods.
SE wants PVP to remain viable.
For Feast and its Seasons, I can only say for retainability of PVPers and possible addition of new players joining PVP for the rewards.
The Garo collaboration is purely IMO to get non-pvpers to at least try it for the rewards and get hooked. Why gear is dyeable only from PVP and the mounts.
This is not uncommon at all with Companies trying to promote certain areas of their games they feel need improvement.
It worked for me. I wouldn't have tried PvP without it, but now I'm doing the daily Frontline roulette. The Garo collaboration is purely IMO to get non-pvpers to at least try it for the rewards and get hooked. Why gear is dyeable only from PVP and the mounts.

Are they clitching the game code to kill things? no... then are they going "out-of bounds" to get stuff like RMT bots? no again... uh okay, are they fighting the "event" within the Rules set by the game & company even if they are way "stronger" then the min requirements? yes... then srry but my answer is "Working as Intended", the game company put in the ability & rule's that allows them to defeat said "Event" in that maner while still getting what it gives as item drops, if the game's owners cared about making sure it had to be done 1 way then they wouldn't have added the ability or capibilty to do it any other way.
Would love to "type/say" more but its basic Point-of-view, what 1 person see's 1 way another may see it different & sometimes you just gota "Agree to Disagree"
What some see as "distracted" is really "fathoming the unfathomable" - last words from an Ul'dahn Mercurial Chemister at the battle of Carteneau
I have questions. Do you use Rath's Rotation or any rotation not your own to craft? Does any of your gear have someone else's name tag on it? Do you ever buy mats from the MB? How about melds, any help with those? If yes to any of these questions, then by your logic, you don't deserve any crafting titles or those shiny Blessed tools. You didn't earn it the way those crafters that theory craft the most efficient rotations on release do. They did it the hard way. Your way has been nerfed by other players carrying you through. You just get a check mark next to the items you made. You're not entitled to those rewards, since you leaned against something/someone else to get there. See how crazy that sounds?

Doing the content among the first in the world.
Doing the content during the patch it was released in with intended gear.
Doing it in a later patch with even better gear but no echo.
Doing it (synced) at the correct level and minimum allowed item level with echo and possible other nerfs.
Doing it (synced) at the correct level and maximum allowed item level with echo and possible other nerfs. (YOU)
Doing it unsynced at a higher level and item level with echo and possible other nerfs. (SCRUBS)
Did I get it right? Funny how elitists always place the bar of acceptable exactly at their own performance.

You're under the assumption that the playerbase consists of people with your interests, and then lumped everyone else in under the "wait until I can unsync it" category, and precluded the people who enjoy running that difficult content for the difficult content and are not fussed with the rewards, which I mentioned at the beginning of my post which you snipped your quote from.
"Ul'dah can keep their dusty markets, and their streets paved in silver and gold.
Limsa Lominsa keep your pirates, and your ships covered in musty mold.
My loyalty lies with Gridania, with the Moogles and the tree spirits of old." -The Forky Conjurer
The only thing that really bothers me are the people who want the Veteran Rewards instantly and then criticize the Veteran system because it's "not fair" that other people have items they don't have yet. We've definitely seen this before on these very boards. As far as paying for content clears that's never bothered me. I've known people who have sold content and would never do it myself nor would I buy it but to each their own.
