Why is game entitlement a thing and people think they deserve every item in the game?

To your point nerfs are not the same thing as running content ten levels over , ilvl being 40 points different is in no way shape are form the same as having triple hp, and triple damage there is a huge difference. Nerfs are nothing I dont know why people act like its a big deal nerfs make things less challenging but it doesnt totally eleminate the challenge. Being ten levels higher and doing triple damage does however.

Is that why people are doing light farms in Alex Savage right now? The nerfs and item level increase have made certain turns simple to the point where people can do them quickly, back-to-back, for relic.

I have actually ran shiva extreme got the mount unsync and went back until I could got a party that didnt wipe the whole fight and I was alive and standing at the end. So nope thats not me I didnt deserve that mount imo until I cleared the content legit.

I gladly will pass on items if Im even dead at the end of a fight (I dont expect others to do this and this isnt what my thread is about), its called earn if I was just in the way and didnt contribute then I better not click my finger on the need button. I will not and dont plan to ever take a mount I didnt earn gear for glamour when its old is one thing but the ultimate reward from said content is a different story. So no If I didnt earn it , I would never try to get the item like I mention before I will prob never be in a titan extreme party to get a sync clear so I have accepted as a player that the mount you get from having all horses is out of reach for me. Its plenty of other mounts in the game Im ok with not having that one or the titan mount. Its called acceptance and that even in a video game not wanting handouts.

Did you clear it at i120 or less and synced to level 50? If not, then you still had an advantage over those of us who completed it back in 2.4.

Does this mean you didn't deserve it? I feel that even if you do it unsynced, you deserve whatever reward the content rewards.

I do think it is very commendable that you do not feel that you earned a reward until you get to a certain skill level. Seriously, I mean that.

Well it's a great thing that you aren't in charge. Seriously, it isn't your gil. You aren't even to current content, seriously, and you're telling people how to act and play. Let it go, you'll find yourself extremely lonely in game chiding people and driving wedges.

Im not in current content because I dont want to be in current content because I wanted to play the game as it was made and created to play. If that makes it harder for me then so be it , but I purposely chose not to be on the latest content not because I couldn't make it there or something.

Basically what everyone is saying is the clear isnt good enough oh no its not ok to clear content that you may have never cleared other wise viva unsync or via paying someone to do it. Thats not enough , to view this content and be satisfied isnt enough at all you simply have to get the rewards that players with a much higher skill level than you did too if anything thats vain its vain to want something that you have no business having. Its a disservice to those who put in the work, and to someone elses point a grind on a relic and actually being capable of completing a fight is two different things. I personally will prob only do relic enough until they get the cool glow and thats about it, but to my point why is it not simple ok to just accept your clear and be done with it why do you want the rewards that you never would of gotten other than finding an easy way out. If no work is required and eventually everyone can have everything obtainable in the game then why not just start selling gear sets on mog station, or let us buy the mounts then let us buy an anima weapon at the final step whats the difference.

Noob question, but what is a "clear" and what is meant by "buying them?" Is it clear prisms? Clearing a duty? Are gil selliers involved with buying the chance to clear a duty with money? :S
