He brought up a blue/dancer hybrid from the after years. So, if hybrids aren't acceptable.. then maybe he should scrap that idea.

In FF Tactic A2, there is a job called White Monk (and there is Master Monk too). I mean, colors are not only assigned to mages.
So because we are struggling for Samurai and Blue Mage, I propose and predict the job Blue Samurai !

I think you may be a little angry at this point. You shouldn't be nor do I want you to be upset. I thought we were past the counting jobs part. I never saw sephiroth or someone in FF9 use gill toss or bushido. So is it that they have a katana they are a samurai, wouldn't just giving warrior or dark knight a katana satisfy your samurai definitionRight back at you Frakenbeans. Ignoring data files thinking they are a red harring, and so on and so on. Oh, here are a few more 'numbers' for you:
1. Final fantasy 7 - Sephiroth
2. Final Fantasy 9 - Amarant has both monk and samurai skills. So, as you brought up, could be a hybrid. However, if you want to nix the hybrids.. That's up to you.
3. Brave Exvius - Cyan
4. Final Fantasy XV - Cor Leonis
5. Theatrhythm - Auron
6. They are enemies in final fantasy Legend 1 and 3
So, adding those 5 (with your subtraction and assumption I was talking about Steiner) That increases Samurai's "representation" Up to 26. (or if you scrap the hybrids - 25 to your 24 for blue mage)
So, please.. continue along with your hopes for BLU. Maybe you'll get your birthday wish, maybe you'll be dissappointed.there see problem solved. I believe Dark knight already has a katana looking weapon you can glamour. So in a way samurai is already in the game for you.

If we go that route, SMN is BLU, because you absorb the primal's powers and gain their aether by fighting themI think you may be a little angry at this point. Not necessarily, gil toss is a traditional SAM skill, along with a few others.
Nah, not angry. Just proving a point. Fine: in 7 Cloud does get a katana weapon and the level 2 ability from the throw materia (you brought up the enemy skill materia for blue) is gil toss. Does that make him a Samurai? I can twist things just as far. There are quite a few skills shared by current jobs as monsters out in the world. Can't you just glamour on your Thavnairian Bolero set and RP that you are a Blue Mage? See, how easy that is? Be a white mage or a black mage and say you learned Aero and stone from the wind / earth elementals. Or Fire and Blizzard from the fire/ice elementals.I think you may be a little angry at this point. Exactly my point.

Which jobs share monster skills. Forgive me as I wasn't aware that any current job uses beast magic. The Thavnairian Bolero looks pretty cool but Blue mages have only appeared middle eastern in Final Fantasy 11 so Blue mage doesn't have to look middle eastern. Not necessarily, gil toss is a traditional SAM skill, along with a few others.

So if both Blue mage and Samurai are satisfied by their respectice glamour capabilities; We can now assume that the Spiderman shirt can be a reference for Dancer or Beast Master. Those are some awesome jobs too![]()
Do you also think Dancer and Beast Master are cool possibilities?
A combo job like Bard....
Blue Mage
Morpher
Um.... Blue Morpho? YEAH! THATS IT!!! BLUE MORPHO job confirmed!!!

Jobs that share monster skills: White Mage, Black Mage, Summoner (I mean Deathflare is Ahk Morn) Dancer could also be satisfied with glamour capabilities. Just be a monk, and type /dance. It would be exactly what those who have been insisting about it since the trailer saw.Which jobs share monster skills. Forgive me as I wasn't aware that any current job uses beast magic. As for Beast Master - At best, it would work exactly like summoner. I highly doubt we'll be getting either (DNC and BST) any time soon though. Might as well toss in the other off the wall theories: Chemist, Geomancer, Corsair (yes, people think that), Photographer - new crafting/gathering job... Do you honestly think any of those have a chance?
