This is pretty much why I play with the Japanese client and voices now. I've never been a fan of fakesperian localization, I can understand it but it comes across as really forced, only two games I've played that I think works really well is Final Fantasy XII and Vagrant Story ironically both being set in Ivalice. I mean the amount of times you heard the word succor during 2.0-2.55 was silly, felt like the localization team were playing a game to see how many times they could put in random sentences.

I think 3.0 got a bit better with the shakesperian talk but I'm way too used to playing it in Japanese now that I can't switch back.

Did you mute Balthier then?

Balthier isn't nearly as bad as Urianger, they're not even comparable.
