    I would like to state and viewpoint that I don't think has been expressed here yet.

    Have you guys considered that SE may not care how many subscribers they are holding right now? If numbers get too low they can always reserve the right to unplug the servers until 2.0 is ready. Doing so would probably generate hype and help the relaunch anyways.

    Sure, they want to start recouping development costs, and announcing a new story line and roadmap with the subscription fee news was calculated at that, but unplugging the servers until the new game is ready is for sure a way to save costs.

    I truly think that we will see a huge decline in players when subscription fees come into play. All images saying is that if they are too low I'm sure they are reserving the right to close the game until further notice.
