That is a very bad example, you're making the damage increase even though you didn't mean it seem way too large. The difference between 900 and 1300 crit is about 5.7%. So a better example would be 5.7k at 900 crit and 6.0k at 1300 crit.
Even with the wrong stats weights, yours in only higher because you're using a ring that's 10 ilvls above (extra DEX) but still missing 100 crit.

Example: I crit with TA for around 5.7k and i have 896 Crit, i see people with 1275 crit hitting for 8k with TA, so you can see the difference.
Obviously the higher the WD and DEX the higher the crit too.
