Not sure where you're getting that info - But here in the USA, it's still doing pretty well and doesn't spell the end of Nintendo in anyway, shape or form

It offers Nintendo's exclusive IPs - You know - Mario - Legend of Zelda - Metroid etc etc Which has millions upon millions fans awaiting the newest versions.

Those IPs are not Final Fantasy, we're talking about completely different game worlds, people will buy for those games not for Final Fantasy, why didn't they port FFXIV to the WiiU then?

I mean.

The PS3 wasn't exactly on the best terms with FFXIV (UI-wise if nowhere else), so I somewhat doubt that the Wii U would've be able to handle it.
