Is the Nintendo Switch more powerful than the PS4?

I wouldn't mind being able to take the game on the go.

Hopefully it's easy to port titles to this new system because Wii U was a disaster for third developers. I love Nintendo but this is the last chance I'm giving them to make a system on par with Microsoft & Sony.
Switch is 1 Nvidia teraflops, PS4 is 1.8 teraflops. It's weaker, it's a handheld. It also has less RAM, and it's MUCH slower.
Based on the specs Nvidia gave (https://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/2016/1...ntendo-switch/ it seems like it's power is comparable to Xbox One. So FFXIV could run fine on it, but I don't know if it would have any limitations beyond anything graphical.
I will just say, off just glancing at it, FFXIV could be a possibility. It is more about if the Switch sells well, if the team can handle it's infrastructure, and if Nintendo will allow cross play.

The big thing that would need to be looked at over graphics is how good the internet capabilities of the handheld are (naturally it will have them, but are they good enough to support an MMO?). We need to look at the switch as its minimum viable product, which is a handheld, and speculate whether or not it is a viable platform for the game. Then again... the trailer showed off handheld splatoon, so who knows.
Other than that, storage capabilities of a handheld are another big issue, with 4.0 coming out, who knows how big this game will be (probably 30GB+ and rising).
