I think the switch is super sweet, and I think Nintendo gets a lot of fun looking games. I'm mainly a PC gamer because of the versatility and buying new consoles gets really expensive. My newest console is a PS2 that I bought used when PS3 came out. I honestly considered buying a PS3, but I was waiting on KHIII and FFvsXIII. Now those games are coming out for PS4 (vsXIII became FFXV) and I'm hoping I might get an FFXV PS4 bundle for Christmas (with the older model PS4 and not the PS4 Pro) because it's a game I actually want to play, and will play a lot, to get through it.

And someone mentioned PSVita remote play running FFXIV... well, do we know that Nintendo Switch won't have this? What are the full capabilities of the Docking station? Is it only an over-glorified charger, or does it have additional storage and processing that allows for the Switch to operate on the principles of Remote Play?

I'd love for a reason to get back into Nintendo systems (I played FFI on the original NES when I was a kid growing up) - Final Fantasy's switch to PlayStation was the main reason my family moved away from Nintendo. I know that there are the Crystal Chronicle games, but they were never a big calling to me and I'm a very focused gamer, which is why I haven't really gotten into a lot of MMOs... the story of FFXIV keeps me with it because I feel like I'm really a part of the narrative, instead of someone just ambling along and stumbling into things.
