I'm all In IF the Switch is good enough to cope with this game.
Can you imagine how amazing will be it having this on a tablet like and those AMAZING joy sticks?!
Only time will tell

It's just a tablet with an Nvidia tegra. It is way slower than the regular PS4. We just got rid of the PS3 I really doubt FFXIV which is an MMORPG will come to a portable handheld. They better work it out with MS and bring FFXIV on XONE and Scorpio.

Not happening, especially with the specs and RAM it has
Judging by the video even Zelda looks like it's running at 20FPS with almost nothing going on.
Seriously now, do you really think a handheld will be as powerful as a PS4?
If for some reason that happened the cost of the product would be insane and would be dead even before release.
We don't need another brick wall limited-by-consoles FFXIV.
Why drop PS3 to Support the Switch if the limitations would still be present? Even the PS4 isn't that good of a hardware, but should allow for some upgrades from the PS3 support drop.

Isnt the Xbone issue still pretty much the same? that they want private servers? On that note idk how nintendo would react to that same issue, likely they would want private servers too.
Actually , if the switch is powered by the Tegra X2, (which would explain Skyrim SE) it would make the Switch as powerful as the basic Xbox One.
Furthermore, stop calling it "a handheld" because it´s a hybrid console that both works (And can be set up) as a home console, AND then it can be switched and pieced together to become a handheld.
How does running Skyrim SE make it as powerful as a Xbox One?
You realize devs downgrade their games depending on the Platform, just look at comparison videos between PS4 and XBOX One and you'll see.
Nintendo has been known for years to release consoles that aren't exactly technical masterpieces, aka outdated specs.
I hope i'm wrong but i highly doubt nVIDIA pulled something amazing out of Tegra.
Don't get me wrong, i'd buy the Switch if it was indeed as good as a base PS4 but i highly doubt it will happen.
As for porting it to the Switch don't forget it means spending resources on porting and not in the actual game.

[QUOTE=RobbieH;3907504]How does running Skyrim SE make it as powerful as a Xbox One? - The Tegra X2 PASCAL is currently being used to develop Switch games with a TFLOP output of 1.6ghz which puts it right over the Xbox one and just under the PS4.
You realize devs downgrade their games depending on the Platform, just look at comparison videos between PS4 and XBOX One and you'll see. - You realize this console is being developed with "ease of development" in mind right?
Nintendo has been known for years to release consoles that aren't exactly technical masterpieces, aka outdated specs. - Nintendo decided they didn't want to compete with the other 2 and decided for this last gen that they'd rather compete with themselves then having a peeny measuring contest with Sony and MS.
Know next to nothing about what is actually going under the hood and from the sounds of things, we have a group of people who're already dismissing this console because it MIGHT have lower specs then the PS4?
