Not only that, but as a Phantasy Star Online 2 player i can clearly see which items and accessories and armors she used to then "create her design".
Of course, she´s modified them and adapted them to FFXIV so they are not carbon copies, but it´s obvious she used them as a template to draw upon.

I don't like it either.
It's so similar to what we already have. There were plenty of other great options that fit with the game and were still more original.
I'd like to know which items exactly, and also how does the soup can armor look any different from what he have in 14 already? Not only that, but as a Phantasy Star Online 2 player i can clearly see which items and accessories and armors she used to then "create her design".

Congratulations to the winner!
Considering that every person has their own taste, it's hard to make everyone happy in a contest. I'm sure that many people will still enjoy the winner set.
nope
u don't understand me or?
who said she need to ask so.'s permission to use a template? lol, not me...plz?
she said that her entry have nothing to do with the Phantasy Star Series and that she is wondering why so many people named it "PSO2 gear.
on the other hand if i look at both pic's I c not only the same pose from the char's,
for example look at the boots or legs....sure they are not identical but pretty similar
and how she can say that her entry have nothing to do with this game at the same time she use a pic from this game as inspiration?
I have no problem with that it looks like, but I don't rly understand her. That's all <3
You know... Inspiration coming from one picture doesn't mean it has to do with it's context... It's a pretty good template too and even though there clearly are similarities (because, you know, that's when happenes if you get inspired by something), it is clearly a different design. Why are so salty about it anyway? She'd have no reason to hide her inspiration from the game, so what are you trying to get at? Oh no this person drew a gear that looks like it's from another game AND THEY MIGHT HAVE USED IT AS REFERENCE!?! Scandal.
I hate to say it but it looks like soooo many other pieces. No cape still and overly "intricate" with looks that seem to have been "stolen" from other sets. And what's up with the bug tail end looking craze on these outfits have they not come up with anything that wraps completely around the lower back legs? Sorry again but I hate it.
That's the point I don't understand ,b'cause she said something another and then she is wondering why people named it "PSO2" gear.
I mean, it's okay to get inspired by something, like u said, and it happenes, that's fine o.o!
nothing
like i said, that I get the picture why other ppl said something like that about her entry , that's all
pls come down, don't be like a dramaqueen, I haven't said something like that and that's not the point i mean. I'm not against her or her entry or whatever about this contest*lol?
Congratulations to the winner and all the runner ups!
I love this entry so much! I love its simplicity. I love its practicality. I love how it all comes together. Here's hoping it gets into the game as well.
And let's have a round of applause for everyone who entered the contest!
Official Short List of Entries
and while I can readily see why this entry did not win, I'd dearly love to have this little guy for a minion.
