OP got you all good.
OP got you all good.

Or 4) people chose their raid team based on skills like they always do, because having the best gear gives you 0 advantage if you can't put it to use. I never had the best gear but found a static anyway. It's not P2W anyway, it would pay to save some time doing boring stuff you'd rather not do in the first place.Basically, your proposition will kill raiding. People will either 1)get fed up with p2w casuals and quit 2)be a p2w casual and never clear or 3) never be able to get in in the first place.
If things are fine the way they are, people would keep doing what they are doing. If you are so worried that people would take the alternative maybe it's because what they are doing now does not appeal to them much. I play(ed) lots of F2P games, sometimes even P2W, and never spent a cent because going to the cash shop would mean that the actual game is more frustrating than fun. For P2W games, that is kind of expected at some point. In a sub game, it should not.
I don't know why you are so against it as if it were a new concept. Plenty of games do it and there are none of the disastrous consequences you speak of.
I did, so, +1.People aren't quitting because of lockouts.

If you can pay real money to get a better weapon/gear that is the very definition of "pay to win", how do you see that as anything else?
Not true, they'd always be at a disadvantage to the people that can just afford to buy the items immediately. We already pay a monthly subscription, the only current items in the mogstation are glamour items and that's how it should stay to keep things balanced.
As for your comments about you wrote this for SE to see not for other players... that might be more credible if you didn't have over 1000 forum posts. Clearly you must know how these forums work.
Since you can post here clearly you still have active game time. When does it run out please so this thread can die?People aren't quitting because of lockouts.![]()

So you're telling us not to worry because people won't buy tomes and gil anyway? You're contradicting yourself so much it's silly.

That is not what I said. Read.If you can pay real money to get a better weapon/gear that is the very definition of "pay to win", how do you see that as anything else?
I said this thread, not all my posts. Read.As for your comments about you wrote this for SE to see not for other players... that might be more credible if you didn't have over 1000 forum posts.
No, I am asking you why you think half the playerbase is would jump at the opportunity to buy them and then tell me at the same time that the game is fun the way it is. Read.So you're telling us not to worry because people won't buy tomes and gil anyway? You're contradicting yourself so much it's silly.

Okay... your very first post in this thread:
Gil and tomestones buy gear and weapons. Gil also buys crafting ingredients to make gear and weapons. Buying experience gives those players a headstart over other players...
Having an advantage over other players because you spent real money IS pay to win.
I guess you forgot what you wrote?
No... you please re-read (I've quoted for your convenience). You were complaining about players commenting on this thread and all I said was that you have over 1000 forum posts so that you must know how these forums work (and I was trying to imply your complaint makes no sense).
Or maybe you really haven't been paying attention and have made all those posts without realising these are public forums and SE rarely actually post and the main people posting are us... the players.
Please re-read your own posts and stop contradicting yourself.

I don't contradict myself, but I am not here for you, so I am not interested in correcting you.

But I think you are (well the players in general, not me personally). If you wanted to just tell SE then you could have used the contact form on the support site, not a public forum which invites players to discuss with each other.
And if you didn't know about other ways to contact SE... you should reconsider your method of thinking. It's all very well posting an idea on the forums, but you need to convince the other players why it's a good idea (and so far I don't think there's a been a single person agreeing with you?)
If you don't win the players over there's no way SE is going to do it because they're not going to want to jeopardise losing the players and a continued monthly subscription over a quick one-time cash injection.

You are lvl 50... and you dont have a single MRD ability to support your lvl 50 PLD
Something like this makes me think you are not very serious, and as such... I have to take some comments with a grain of salt.
To address your comments -
-Levequests give greater exp the higher you are lvled.
-Dungeons needs encouragement to be re-ran or else the new people will have less experienced people to learn from, not to mention many of the dungeons are crafted well and have fun mob fights. Not all, but thats up to personal preference
-Class quests begin at lvl 50 again and run to lvl 60.
-Crafting and Gathering help more then themselves, half price repairs for life and overmelds are a staple of serious raiders. Not to mention the flow of Gil.
-There have been issues with some contents lockouts, but overall they are adjusting it as they go. Its good to have people locked out of some content due to inexperience, the iLvL function helps this along.
You seem to want to only do things once and move along, well this is a MMO and its pretty much designed for you to go back and see what you missed before hand. The thrill of working out a bosses mechanics is gone, but the chance to do them with perfection and efficiency remains.

Offline game will suits you well because you can cheat the money and do everything you want. But the problem of those offline game is there's no glamour system until now so... That's why I always stick to this game, because of the glamour.
