Out of curiosity, how does the 0 DPS healer crowd suggest hitting really aggressive DPS checks? I know the game isn't tuned to healers doing DPS, but there has been more than one occasion ( even just doing 4-mans ) where the DPS is just undergeared or not good enough ( as in, missing some technical skill to maximize damage. ) to hit these checks. Do you just keep ramming your face into an insurmountable wall and hope the DPS check gets easier? Do you give up? While yes, technically the failure is on the DPS, if you, as a healer, can contribute the extra 20-30% damage needed to MEET these checks, but choose not to ( when you are safely able, not at the expense of healing, obvs ) is it not also on you?

Don't get me wrong. There are definitely limits to this. I just did Final Steps of Faith for the first time as a healer, and that shit was INTENSE. I tried to do CS all of once, and immediately turned it back off because it would force me to neglect healing.

I dunno. I wish all the things I did on my healer were as intense as that fight. But they aren't, and so I DPS to fill the gaps when I'd otherwise be doing my spiffy new Go Go Posing Ranger poses.
