As much as I enjoyed XI, there are things I do not ever want to see in XIV.

Like NM camping, pop NMs with an item that drop loot is fine. Not liking the idea of waiting for a timed spawn and losing claim to a bot or bad luck. Diadem could of been the "Sky" endgame activity where you have to work to spawn NMs and HNMs via pop items (or the ZNM system which was pretty nifty.)

Unpopular opinion, but I liked Abyssea. It gave other neglected jobs a chance to shine, before the meta was top geared SAM x2-3 (one DRG) BRD, and RDM killing pink food stealing birds for hours on end, no other jobs were allowed and even if there are alternate camps most of the playerbase wanted to copy what's popular or adapt. Diadem should of been something like that, where you could enter with any premade you wish, farm time, and farm loot.

It took me some getting used to the whole idea of raids, in XI there really wasn't raids just open world hardcore content. Though I suppose Dynamis would count as an instanced raid. Feels like everything in this game has to be locked behind a timed instance. They need to mix things up a bit. Destiny raids (talking about the FPS) weren't timed, you go in with a party and try your hardest to beat it and get the weekly lockout for loot.
