DPSing as a healer

If people die because you crave destruction more than construction, then you have failed as a healer. If there is no construction necessary, then by all means, DESTROY.

Heals first, kill second.

We're at war. You're a medic, not infantry. That's what you signed up for. When you've made sure that everyone is healthy enough to fight on for a bit, then you better not be caught standing around sewing a hole into your panties.

no i not a troll i just see that cleric stance make job complex i have adhd so it hard healing with sometime forget that i have cleric stance on so i don't use it at all in dungeons, if you want new player advice be comfortable be healer if that something you desire. you don't have heal in cleric stance be comfortable as you want be

If I'm not doing 1000 things at once, I'm bored silly.

But you don't have to remember if you have it on or not, you have a icon to tell you if its on or not, 2 actually, one in the party list which you should always be looking at as a healer and another on your buff/debuff bar, the last one you can even increase size to obscene levels (ctrl+Home key, no idea on ps) so you can make sure you see it.

I think Cleric Stance is kinda dumb, it doesn't add anything besides one more button to press and skillbloat. If the tank is dying because you entered Cleric, the problem is probably not CS but that it was the wrong timing to try to DPS. I'm indiferent bout removing it or not.

If the skill locked you out of healing them, when you could have otherwise just cancelled your cast and healed them, it's doing it's foresight mechanic. The fact that entering cleric stance could be a death sentence is exactly why it is so powerful. As people get better at it and become better healers, the mechanic seems trivial, because of our hundreds to thousands of hours of healing experience.

Cleric stance trains people to be better healers. Sounds odd, but Cleric stance adds room for error which in turn creates disasters which gives someone the opportunity to "OH ****" healing moments.

I know recovering from "OH ****" healing moments (usually) has made me a better healer and if Healer's didn't DPS and cleric's stance didn't exist then it'd be very hard for those moments to...create themselves.
