Powerleveling ruined my day

I just had to open up *yet* another post about this stupid, stupid idiocy. Just take a look at Muntuy cellars: 3 LV 50 characters AOE killing all the mobs, and some 20 low level players standing around doing nothing. And producing materia on the way. This is complete, complete, utter bullsh*t.

And I feel like someone kicked me out of the game with a big cardboard:

This is complete bullsh*t. Today I was in a "normal" PT in Muntui cellars. there was one LV 50 player AOE-killing ing in the middle of the skeleton room, one in the next room, and some 20 low level people people in-between doing NOTHING. And we were kindly asked to move away, because we "disturbed" their powerleveling party.

THIS IS IDIOTIC.

So (roughly) three parties had already claimed the area and available spawns, and asked your party not to compete with them for the same enemies. Sounds fair to me. I fail to see the idiocy.

I'm on a bit of both, but for personal reasons.

I dont like instant-50 or PLing because it would ruin a core feature of a site I Run

On the other hand

Levelling is a pointless feature to a game and is a massive roadblock to the casual player where as its nothing to those who can have 4-5 friends playing 24/7.

How can you make both happy?

Rude? What's the point of midlevel content when everyone is only worried about making high level gear, doing the high level dungeons, and only worried about high level stuff? I don't know, but I do think it effects a lot of people.

Why have levels at all then? Or gear? I mean, how does other people's gear affect you? Oh that's right, it doesn't. Let's just remove all content so we don't have to do it!
