    There would still be complainers. Mostly the people that feel it's "special" to get in game and complaining that their hard work is "invalidated" because someone used a credit card. It's already happened with the event gear being on CS.

    You can't please everyone.

    While it's true SE can't please everyone, I support your middle ground idea.
