Because this is essentially cosplay requests. I would rather SE make unique events for entirely new glamour or hyped new releases like FFXV. Not focus said resources on Tifa or Terra's outfits from Advent Children and FFVI, respectively. Those events means we'll only get one or the other in lieu of both. That, and SE is a business. Saying you'll pay for silly cosplay outfits or old event items inherently gives more incentive for them to do it compared to "I want all this cool stuff, but I don't want to pay anything for it."

This thread again.....
Then make BOTH so everyone is happy.
If you dont want to grind, buy. If you don't want to buy, grind, pretty simple, win win and no more flaming SE / the CS supporters / the CS flamers ^^"
Because you see an outfit you ?![]()
*trolling you, i would love to see it in game, as well as Lady Yunalesca's *.*

There would still be complainers. Mostly the people that feel it's "special" to get in game and complaining that their hard work is "invalidated" because someone used a credit card. It's already happened with the event gear being on CS.
You can't please everyone.
Then i'll have to go back to my "anti-cash shop crusade" instead of trying to find ideas to please everyone, sad really :/
People don't know how to take criticism anymore, and bad play is rewarded with with a coddling mentality. Yes, this is a casual game for the most part - that doesn't mean people need to walk on eggshells in fear of getting reported for pointing out things. This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.
Because there's nothing wrong with putting fun things in the mogstation like the ones we have. I'd buy it if it was in there. More often then not I wouldn't do a questline to get a costume on the flip side. And it's NOT cause I'm 2016= lazy. It's cause if I'm grinding for anything then it's gear, or to improve. Things I think are worthy of a grind, not some skin. BUT thats me and I wouldn't be apposed to them putting it in the game. Why can't there be BOTH? So I don't have to run some long grind, but if you hate spending the money you can go do the quest? We should have both options, not just ONE.
