People don't know how to take criticism anymore, and bad play is rewarded with with a coddling mentality. Yes, this is a casual game for the most part - that doesn't mean people need to walk on eggshells in fear of getting reported for pointing out things. This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.

Celef, I had to giggle a little at the irony of the image in your signature and you posting in this thread. lol
PS. <3 FF8!!!!

As a Dragoon I want Freya's outfit from FF9.
I also want General Beatrix's Look for Paladins and Yang's look for the Monks.
I would also want a Mustadio outfit for the Machinist.
Basically more outfits that fit the class your char. play as.
Can only really agree with the anti-cash shop sentiment. Thoroughly sick of the genre appeasing people with such a low fortitude and personal discipline that they cant be bothered to work for something (which is a good third of its value). And instead, want to throw cash at it because they cant be bothered. It encourages developers to appeal to that demographic and reduce the amount of focus on design for those who enjoy meaningful reward. Which is half the reason they have resorted to lazy development and fate grinds as an alternative. Of course the lazy, self entitled and free hand-out centric crowd wont agree at all. But I don't really care. it's not like they care about my opinion, certainly have no time for theirs.
Promote the development of interesting ways to achieve in game items and they will develop it - because you demand it. That's how business and democracy works. Use it.

Not really.
- Business works when offer can meet demand, resulting in a deal. There is obviously a demand for cash shop items. SE is making business from it.
- Democracy works when, for instance, everybody is able to give his opinion without insulting others. You gave yours about cash-shop supporters being a " lazy, self entitled and free hand-out centric crowd ", and this sounds just pejorative to me.
The fact that you cant afford these items (being broke is your problem) doesnt really allow you to judge others.
Also these mounts are just extras. Cant buy them? Dont buy them.
If one day we see relics / raid weapons / raid tokens / MSQ or jobs progression available in the cash shop then yes this would suck and this would be an issue.
But Yoshi is far from doing this. He's just putting fan-service items in the CS. Seems fair to me.
I know, but there is actually outfits i'de like to see in game and did not want to create the 1000000 thread "what outfit would you like to see (but not in Cs !!!!)" xD
Although I do agree with you,
and disagree with you lets not start another war here please, there is the fat mog mount thread for this![]()
