Do healer need to help doing dps? Especially cleric stance?

You decide to contribute in damage as a healer, you'll have more chances to get into groups as you're known to the community to be a "good healer"
You decide not to contribute in damage as a healer, you'll lose out on groups (or even alienated completely) if you're known to the community as "the 0 dps healer"

I rarely ever DPS as a healer and I never have problems finding a group. Not to mention, if you care that much about what random people think about you, you need to re-think your priorities. Random guy says "you don't DPS, you're bad" or any personal opinion they use to justify trolling, I reply "cool, bro!"

Yeah, no,... if you don't at LEAST pop clerics stance for Dollhouse to help break out the 2 transformed DPS...you are bad.

I mean seriously, between the healer and the tank, the healer does a LOT more damage than the tank. If you just sat there healing the tank while the tank broke them free all by himself...you are bad.

See what I mean? Randoms calling you bad because you don't play the way they want you to. I pay my monthly fee for this game, I'll play however I want, just like the OP should. Stop worrying about what elitist pseudo-know-it-alls think about you. If you want to do it, do it. If you don't want to, don't. I can confirm that what the above poster said is incorrect... that if you don't, you will not get a reputation. That's just someone trying to intimidate you into playing the way they think you should play. I enjoy the game as I play and I don't have any issues. The only time that someone has ever commented on me not DPSing was from a DPS who was dishing out very low DPS.

Everyone wants something different from their healer. Heals are always a must but some random people you will encounter will call you garbage if you aren't dpsing like the other dps. Don't get disgruntled by the assholes you encounter in DF. No matter how good you are, no matter how fast you can cast a Cure 3 or a Medica to mitigate raid-wide damage, it will always NOT be enough for some people. Don't let the trolls discourage you. You do your job and if you're having fun and nobody is dying for no reason, then you're doing an awesome job.
