    No, it's not opinionated ranting. It's the logical assessment of what will happen. If the the crafting community and the combat community they need to purchase their goods advance at wildly different rates, the economy will be screwed, period. If people are just leap-frogging all the lower levels, the lower level content will fall by the wayside, period.

    Just because his design represents freedom of choice doesn't mean it's not inherently flawed or executed poorly.

    Thank god people took the time to lvl alot of crafting classes on my server and your worrys would be valid if this were a brand new game, but its not, there are a ton of crafters out there max lvl. Low lvl everything becomes useless eventually. Not everyone will have the luxory of a plvl 100% of the time so its still not completely useless. Hopefully this brings down prices of low lvl gear as well.

    MMOs are non linear content rich media. The order in which that medias content is experienced is unique in comparison to a offline game with more strict progression limitations.

    FFXIV is a persistent world full of possibilities with intertwining mechanics far more complex than the exterior appearance it reflects.

    Developers have the final "best interest" say because they better understand these complexities and limitations than the average player.

    You can sit at your desk/laptop/phone and try your best to oppress the future of other players. However, Yoshi did all this for a reason.

    You seriously think, with the game devs doing better than previously, that 1 man organizing 100+ japanese ppl in a orchestrated effort to save a corporate multimillion dollar project sat there looking over all the data of those 100+ pplz combined efforts and after scrutinizing it said to himself: "hmmm FFXIV needs to fail... Let me purposefully change the game for the worst. Muahahaha! *evil laughter*"

    Thats your ideal logic?

    Let Yoshi do his job and if it bothers you, exercise your freedom to go play another game.

    So you're planning on the game population to stay the same then? No big influx of players at ps3 release, or before then, which is ultimately the sole reason SE is even investing time in making changes to the game? No new servers? Because if the population increases, your points aren't valid.

    I'm sure SE is happy with that prediction.

    How quickly people forget the condition this game was launched in. And how quickly they forget that players in the beta CONSTANTLY told the devs about problems that ultimately proved to be completely true, and have since been fixed, many in ways that those players were suggesting.

    Developers are frequently wrong. They also frequently make adjustments based on player feedback, so your reasoning is completely flawed.

    Nobody is perfect and everyone can make mistakes. Remember that they were wrong in the release and they can do things that makes the game worst, not only better and better.

    I was very happy for EVERYTHING. I was in love with this patch. But I can't accept this situation. It has no sense, I don't know why my opinion isn't correct and yours yes.

    Once again speculation. You have no way of predetermining these outcomes with anything remotely resembling accuracy.

    You say "crafters and battle classes being imbalanced" will destroy the game?

    Do you understand the inummerable calculations required to predict such an outcome?

    You seem self assured, so please throw some math into this.

    Im honestly intrigued, tell me numerically how this imbalance can occur, which items will be involved, which classes and at what lvl and how this all calculates in correlation to each servers individual population trends and buy/selling indexes.

    Please share with everyone.

    So whats the point in making low level gear, low level dungeons, low level materia, and anything in between 0-35 if you can power level through it all?

    I my opinion, it's a waste of development time if it can all be skipped. Progression, as stated by many others is what makes an MMO an MMO. I can understand that there are multiple classes to level up, but you shouldn't be able to rank up this fast. It's just not right.

    People can disagree to disagree as they are doing in all these threads, but you can't deny that it's too fast in most cases. You can say that you don't have to power level, but how can you essentially group level if everyone is power leveling? Soon, most people will be r50, with very small amounts of lower ranked people. Don't make any more mid level content if you can rank up this fast. Like I said..

    And why they don't do this in others MMORPGs? Seriously man, why we need to do a full study about the situation with many mathematicians and scientists to defend our vision?

    It's a logical conclusion. You should also demonstrate your vision with large studies.
