Funny thing, I just got in a dungeon, and a tank LEAVES, just because he doesn't like Stone Vigil. Ugh, I am tired of how people treat the duty roulette. There should be a penalty for leaving a dungeon, or trial in df. I would suggest making it so that if they didn't dc, they can't use the duty roulette after leaving, or get the reward for the day.

Alot of newcomers are afraid of asking (heard this from several newcomers), because they think they might get kicked or get called for words like idiot, noob etc. In general crown or no crown, I think players should help and teach newcomers or those with less experience in certain fields and if you do have a crown, then as a mentor you should do this, its part of the mentor package.
I fully agree I really want to be mentor cause I like to help people. But I want to master every job before I do that. Or at lest WHM, SHC, PLD and also a DPS job. I tried going into a low level dungeon with my WHM and even in a low level dungeon everything felt so fast pasted I had keep saying sorry to people when they died. I use to be a level 60 WHM in FF11. Yet being a WHM in this game fills very different everything is lot faster. Scared me me to bits. I haven't gone back in as a WHM because of this. Don't feel ready yet.

Gosh I hate it when people do that. I hate a lot of dungeons in this game but I won't just leave. I will see it through lol.

If you have to try to let the tank die then you're whining about nothing.

My advice would be to read up and research the WHM and try it again. Players will die and you will screw up, but because of these failures, you will learn and improve. WHM is pretty straightfoward when it comes to skills. Lodestone says your level 30, so I am going to assume this is correct.

    1. Use Cure I and when it procs the free Cure II spell, use that spell.
    2. If a player is has very little HP, use Cure II, but remember Cure II cost alot of mana so only use it when needed.
    3. Use Medica when you need to AoE heal.

At level 35, you learn Regen which is a heal over time spell. I always keep a regen on the tank or player that is getting focused on, just remember to cast Regen after the tank has pulled the mobs, if you do it before the tank attacks the mobs, they will run straight for you. At level 40 you will learn Divine Seal, which is my favourite skill as a WHM. Using Divine Seal will increase healing spells by 30%. At this level you can start practicing doing DPS as a healer, since Divine Seal + Regen (and later Medica 2) will keep the parties HP up for some time, giving you enough time to deal some damage.

My advice, play the WHM, start doing one dungeon tomorrow and if you fail, go back. You will learn and it will become second nature for you. The fear of failing is very normal, this is when you should go back and try again, again, again. I wish you good luck and do not worry, failure is part of the game.

... as healer I never putting my ego (like letting them die) because it's childish action, even your tank acted like brat. Actually you can cast protect when tank pulling enemy too, stoneskin however, is unnecessary.

If they pull the next mobs then SS them when they are in combat or just forget about it. Low level dungeons don't really hit that hard, so the tanks just power on through. The tanks might like you to stay in Cleric longer as well so they get a faster run. Just make sure they have Protect up and keep any eye on the HP bars of everyone.

I don't like tanking for a group who is too slow. Too slow and too fast are both horrible ways to experience dungeons.

Protect is mitgation, yes, but only the tank really needs that mitigation in a good party. If the tank is rushing, it means he knows what he's capable of. Though I will admit there are bad apples... I had a tank in Expert recently who pulled up to the third group after the first gate in Sohr Kai in nothing less than the bare minimal item level... he went down really quick. It did not help that he only had a fair few Lore pieces. But in the long run, you would just get more to deal with it (when capable) than to just treat toxicity with even more toxicity.

I don't get this thread... How is even Lore incentive ruining low level dungeons in duty finder? I just had to do a double look and only level 60 dungeons give Lore and the daily leveling roulette give a tremendous whopping "5" Lore. Me being a level 60 tank would not even waste my time on a whopping 5 Lore. Now if you talking about Esoterics...

    Is it reset Tuesday yet.

I question whether I'm playing a PvE game with PvP mixed in, or I am I playing a PfG.
