I've heard a few people talking about problems with the add phase. Killing the adds but still wiping. It might need some tweaking at least.

Odd I beat the trial in a duty finder group where the the war tank insisted on cleaving all the dps on the blue dragon monster with the Lightning snake.

There is already a normal mode for story quest and belive it or not, it's a good thing it's decently hard, because this proves what I've said for ages, people don't care how to play their class optimized or even trying doing it decent. If adds doesn't die = dps problems, if people die on aoe they don't know the rotation of the boss, if people die to akh mohn it's healers fault. This fight has abosulutely stunning mechanics that's not even that hard, but people struggle because they been too comfy doing the same shit all the time, not caring.

Just a while ago I got Niddy on roulette, ran with a Bard who for reasons that escape me refused to use FoeReq and REFUSED to use WM. All this despite the fact that we weren't clearing the check because the rest of the dps weren't geared enough to compensate for his stubbornness.

His reason for not using WM? He hadn't cleared Niddy yet and wanted to dodge aoes properly.

Suffice to say we didn't clear and he still died to aoes. Vote Abandon.

^ This. It's when he does the first animation with the knockback. If they're not all dead by then, you wipe, even though theres still a couple of sections before he does the attack.

But you know, he might have a story why he can't do use WM. No one knows because we dont know whats going on behind his screen.

I wiped on Nidhogg story mode once.
Just once. After that never again. Basically did it with a single tank and healer too as the other two didn't seem to want to do much.

The fight isn't very difficult.
