Is a less humanoid race impossible?

Well Bangaa for instant aren't possible because they're from Ivalice - totally different world but I don't think you'd ever see non humanoid races i.e. best tribes beccause they'd have to rework literally every piece of equipment and even the most determined company wouldn't do that

I never got that argument. Aren't these races the same from 11? What about the hundreds of cameos of enemies, allies and such that appear in FFXIV?

From what I heard on and off, yes, in the sense of "We'd like to do more if we had more people" sort of thing. Though last I read they said they brought in a few guys so who knows?
