Please just give us Viera!

First People complain that they don't like Viera, thats fine.
Then they complain that they are like Miqo'tes but with bunny ears... that is wrong, go play FFXII and see the diference.
Then they complain that FFXIV wouldn't do Viera justice... okay... i am going to ask you to stop there...

First 5 races, no one complained and Lalafels and Miqo'tes dominated. Au Ra implemented, some people complained and after accepted, and now is popular because of Yugiri preview in the story. If SE does like they did with Yugiri, preview Viera's perfect into the story, it will be the same thing as Au Ra, complains at first but then its accepted and popular.
And for those that want Beast races... SE would have to make COMPLETE SETS of armor for them instead of just feet, so stop it... Not to mention SE already has half work done with Viera since they have designs for it, so if they decide to add, good, if not, fine.

But don't start with bullshit that adding Viera would ruin them!

Your argument for why SE won't do beast races can just as well be applied to Viera (albeit on a smaller scale). Removing characteristic features of the race in order to accommodate existing and future gear sets would indeed 'ruin' them in the eyes of people, because then they wouldn't truly be Viera but a poor man's version.
