I've read this thread. You've had to defend yourself a lot. You've made some very valid and respectable points. But you're getting super defensive, over sensitive, and picking fights with the wrong people now. Calm down.

And yet you chose to quote him and address him directly...? Either way, the way you two responded to his posts doesn't put either of you in a positive light and both sides could stand to not lump the other and make it a big "us" vs. "them" issue and I'm not responding to either of you further because you're obviously both worked up over this and with you, specifically, I refuse to cater to your thinly veiled passive-aggressiveness and eyelash batting.

Thank you for your respons and I'm glad the way you respond. So let me respond you in the same way. I know he didn't single out anyone, I never posted my picture to point it at him. My picture and post was simply about what has been a large topic in this thread for almost 80 pages. I never said he could be one of those types of players, but when people say they can't have fun if someone tell they need to improve, it's just one of them silly arguements, on my honest opinion. Why did I post the picture? Because those people have fun in their own way, they want to do it for themselves and not include others in the party and look how well that went? Now, this doesn't happen often but it happens. There are reasons why it happens and it's been a on going topic throughout the thread:

People having fun in their own way
Refuse to take advices
Maybe they have no one to teach them and perhaps wants help? I don't know there are endless of ways and why they are like this.

As I've said before, no one doesn't care if his DPS isn't optimal in dungeons, if that was a thing you would seen it happen in many dungeons. Myself and other people parser dungeons, because we want to commend people who do a real good job. I can see who's trying hard and some aren't. That's why we commend right? To give the best player in group the commendation?

I'm not getting defensive and over sensetive as you state. If I was, I wouldn't even be here posting. Last time it happened, I got banned for 14 days. That gave me a lecture how to behave and this time it hasn't happened, so I'm well aware of what I'm saying or doing. Also I'm not picking up fights with him, but he has no valid reason to call people idiots. He didn't single anyone out or point at people with his fingers, he said idiot about those who tell him to do better because hes not optimal.

Now I don't know the guy, but I trust him doing his part well enough and that's more than enough. What if he isn't? Then he might need to improve and we all know how people can be when advices are handed out... they get offended. If he gets told and he know hes good enough he should report people for harrasing him. This is also why parser would be a good thing, if he knew he was good and people told him trash, he could simply defend him with it. There are people who doesn't use parsers, who call people bad and they have no proof they are better.

Many in this thread had good respons, on both sides. Sadly there are few in this thread who like to name call out people, if you seen my older post. There was a guy who are again'ts parsers calling me out and others, like piece of shit etc. And they say they don't want people to harras them with parsers. NO logic at all too be honest.

I was trying to be polite, but thanks for the picture, I've seen a few in this thread and the lack of posts showing parser harassment really paints a picture of the REAL problems in the game.

That's fine and I know you was. Problem is, I know myself and I can get extremely frustrated with some post in here but I try to be logical and stay on a low level so I can actually discuss and argue with people here, without calling them names. What I don't get is why people gets tagged with bad words and then they want to talk about them not getting respect from pro parsers. It honestly blows my mind, it really does. People expect respect but never give it out.

If I was a bad player and held people ''hostage'' I would leave. I like to respect people who wants to progress or do things on their own way. I would NEVER hold a group down because I simply can't do it good as them. It's unfair and selfish doing so. Respect comes both ways, not 1 way.

The problem with that goes both ways... I had a healer in AV who left because they couldn't do the first boss, I really wanted to help them, and I enjoy helping players who actually try, I don't like lazy players who expect a carry.

I explicitly said earlier that this wasn't an us vs. them issue, I categorised the reasons that players underperform -

I have been doing some thinking about this. Bad players tend to fit into 3 categories:
a) Bad players that are unaware that they are bad
b) Bad players that know they are bad but are struggling/don't know how to improve
c) Those who cannot be helped ("I pay my sub so I can play how I want even if it means wasting your time" or "The 'elitist' who is actually bad" etc.)

The context of the post was a complaint about the game system (and I regret using the word bad, because it seems insulting, underperforming is a better word) and how we can improve the systems to fix A and B, anyone who does not fit into this category is a perfectly competent player. Really, we are trying to help people, so being called out as being passive aggressive is odd to me
