I don't raid so even if my dps is enough for that, it really isn't: I probably have to cut at least 20 or 30% of my current dps to make it look more reasonable.

I think there is a big problem as well. Many doesn't do SSS. If there is any, there is only a few of them who do actually. Add on would be right in front of their faces, 1 click away and it's on. And yes the SSS do need higher requirement in terms of DPS on them. Still doesn't mean many would nail mechanics with DPS as you mentioned. Many still struggle and need to find a way to fix that as well.

That's why some people suggested to gate the content by the corresponding SSS trial. Because sure, beating SSS doesn't automatically mean you'll get along fine in the content, but, if you don't even beat SSS, then showing in the content is just a waste of time for everybody.

It would also prevent buying runs for really bad, but rich, players
