FFXI which supported multiple weapons per job allowed DRK to still wield greatswords, as well as the DRK unlock quest and main NPC also involved greatswords and not scythes. And bards couldn't use bows? Funny that, cause the Spoony bard Edward from ff4 could certainly equip bows.

You're right though and things don't have to necessarily follow the precedent set by past games but that doesn't change the fact that there's absolutely plenty of merit to making samurai a tank.

I meant more that bards were not archers. But yeah samurai has enough merit to be a tank. Same with every class. I just hope it's not. For biased reasons.
