Glamourable ilvl 170 crafting gear sets

So not sure if it's possible or not or if they will even consider it but I think if we could glamour the ilvl 170 crafter sets to DoM/DoW classes that'd be really cool, i'd love to see this happen! Could a forum moderator please comment on this and maybe bring it up to Yoshi-P or whoever is in charge of this kinda thing?

While I do understand that lots of those sets are pretty damn awesome - can we keep them for the classes they belong to? And just have one (or two) unique gearsets for every class/job in the game? Inculding crafting and gathering?

Uh, this isn't just about having access to more great looking glamour but also that these gear sets will become obsolete in the 3.3 patch so if they could become glamour to more classes it would keep them relevant for awhile longer.

No. You have ur class specific gear andthey have theirs. Plain and simple. The fact that u want it imo is that u cant respect this simple fact and that the devs do an amazing job designing.


Honestly u can already wear craftable craft gear being that its all classes. Now ya just being greedy.

They're still relevant for their certain class to glamour onto - sorry, my point still stands: Those gear was designed with a specific class in mind - is it so hard to keep it to that job?
And mind you - 3.3 wont make this gear completly obsolete after all. And even if, as I said: They've got a special look for each class. The level50 pieces are still locked; the artifact gear is still locked - and all for the good reason to have a few gearsets that are uinque to the class they were designed for. Thats what makes them special and as I said in an earlier thread: I like being able to walk through idleshire and see a fellow weaver and recgonise him as weaver because of the unique gear. As long as both genders are treated equally I highly favour some unique gearsets for classes (or races).

Edit: And seeing how you're asking if they'll consider it: I dont think so - they havent unlocked any of the class-specific gear, like the level 50 crafting/gathering sets nor the artifact gear. And I damn hope it will stay this way - please devs, dont give in to such complains! You're doing an amazing job giving every class the option to have a unique look and thats great! Lets keep it like that, please!

I disagree, those outfit should be unique to their class and not shared.

While I can see why some would be opposed by the idea of seeing DoW/M classes fully decked out in a DoH glamour, due to the whole "unique to the class" thing, it couldn't hurt to introduce parts of the sets as glamour pieces that can be glamoured by all classes.

Like some of the i170 pants (CRP/LTW/ARM), i170 gloves (GSM), i170 boots (GSM), i170 gloves (ALC)
On their own, these don't look all that unique to the DoH job, and actually have pretty neat models that'd mix well with other pieces of gear.

I'd say leave it for the crafters. While granted some of the sets look really nice I can understand it from their point of view. It's the same with me and not wanting to see non-tank types wearing full plate armor. That's my gear. I'm the one putting in all the effort to play a tank role in this games DF 98% of the time (no friends who haven't quit, FC is dead outside of the first 2 weeks after a major patch) for the rights to both lot it and wear it. And like wise crafters are the ones who put in all the effort to level DoH roles to earn the rights to wear that nice looking crafter gear.

Respect what others have and be grateful for what you have others might not.

The level 50 crafting class specific gear can't be glamoured which is a shame too, they're currently very useless and I'd love to have the alchemist coat glamoured

not obsolete, you can still use them as glamour for crafters.
