What's with people saying Yokai-Watch looks out of place?

I don't really get what the big deal is.

The game already has out-of-place, "immersion-breaking" and ridiculous mounts, glamour etc. while minions are usually referred to as toys most of the time, and people would bash over this one because it's apparently not Final Fantasy (when it's a collaboration, mind you).

I'd say the flying spinning turtle, Flying fat Chocobo, Fenrir, Behemoth, Bennu, glowing pony and eagle mounts etc. we have now are more ridiculous than the Whisper mount we're getting. I also see nothing wrong with the glamour weapons and the minions, we already have ridiculously designed weapons existing in the game already.

the only thing worse than the whisper mount, would be carrot daggers in Aion. All that kawaii nonsense that shows up in all asian games, makes me gag.
but i agree with you regarding flying spinning turtle, and flying fat chocobo, but they are not anywhere near as bad as whisper.
