That said, I think in terms of development time, the devs need to consider how popular a certain combination will be. For example, if only 2 people want to wear a bunny suit on their male characters - that may not be worth the dev time to create the skins. Yes, they would need to recreate the skins, as the male and female bodies are different in size/shape etc.
I don't think that should be taken into consideration at all if we're going to simply go the route of unlocking everything. Did they take into consideration how many females would actually glamour the Best Man outfit or the Thavnairian bolero? No, they just made them unisex options from the get-go. Even though neither one seems to be all that popular on females as compared to other more feminine equipment, you can bet "the girls" would throw a fit if they were to lose those options. Many of us with male characters just want to see an equal number of options as our female counterparts have, whether we choose to use those options or not.

Honestly you really cant claim that its a minority or not without actually having statistics. Yoshi P said it was highly requested that mean a decent number of people want it. Beyond that there are a lot of people who agree with it on principle and a lot more who don't really care either way. The number of people who actively don't want it is likely to be no bigger and likely less than the number who actually support it.

Certianly I don't think it would make much difference. Ive seen some disturbing glamours in game already. :P I cant see a bunny suit or a dress making it any worse.

I am sure they did. It is a massive waste of resources for them to spend time on something that they feel no one would use.

Do not get me wrong, I believe that all the gear should be uni-sex and the same on each sex in terms of equality. I just know that the dev time is limited and this needs to be taken into consideration.

Not sure why you have girls in quotations?

Because not all female characters are played by females; trying to denote between "female characters" and "female players" before someone gets all crazy up in here and starts turning this into a feminism thing (which would actually be pretty hilarious because I'm a girl playing a male character, lol). I guess it makes it more confusing than anything. Meh.

So.... the point of your thread was to come here and stir up the trolls from their caves and bridges, then?

I'm a little lost now. I'm going to go back under my bridge and get some coffee.

If it's really the ultra-minority that are wanting it, then you will rarely encounter anyone actually doing it after implementation. It won't affect you in any way, and the only negative is that the devs wasted some time making glamours that nobody wants.

What does any of this have to do with any point you are trying to make about gender-locked clothes?

Honestly, if SE decides to allow something unisex, and you don't like it that's too bad. There is literally no reason beyond Devs having to work, and take time, on new models, and the irl cost, that all outfits shouldn't be unisex.

In all seriousness, are you aware there are male rabbits? Like, minfilia's outfit or thavnairian dress aside, do you understand bunny ears make absolutely no sense to be gender locked?

Because again, are you aware there are male rabbits?
